The word I choose: ceremonial
The reason I choose this word: It is because in the paragraph of "Machu Picchu", it said that the experts didn't know why the ancient people built this wonder. They estimate that it was built for some "ceremonial reasons". Maybe that is a real reason too. So, this word is important too.
I think the meaning of this word is: A kind of big event that everybody in the country or city should join it.

Hi Jessica, I like your word; in regard to your wonder, other students also selected the bridge.
